What is a treatment and how is it given?
A person receiving a treatment is fully clothed and usually lays on a massage table. However, Reiki can be given to a person sitting in a chair. It is a gentle light touch-no invasive manipulation. Also we can work above the body and not touch. A full treatment, one on one, with a Reiki therapist runs about 1 hour. In a clinic setting, a treatment runs about 1/2 hour with several people working on each person, enhancing the effects of the shorter treatment.
